Agile thinking can benefit all organizations, including those slow to adopt or even resisting the use of Agile methods. Say you need to create a traditional plan for a very complex project. Creating the plan is a small project in its own right – use Scrum to do it.
It is well known that adopting Agile exposes organizational dysfunctions and organizations must address these dysfunctions rather than modifying Agile methods to work around them. The principles are common sense and even if you cannot apply all of them, you can use some of them daily to help others "see the light".

Start applying Agile thinking to make incremental improvements, explain what you did differently and why it worked, and win people over through your successes.
