Are We Done?

How do we know something is done? When I say Done - does everyone know what that means? And what is Done Done?

The answer to these questions is often the difference between success for an organization and a getting on a greased slide to hell as one of my favorite professors used to say.

In agile we've tried to solve this issue with something called a Definition of Done (DoD) for acronym lovers. I wish I could say that has cleared up the confusion. There is still a vast variation and understanding of Definition of Done.

The goal of this hands on, interactive workshop is to demystify Definition of Done and give participants a tool they can use with their team's and organizations to create a DoD that makes a difference and makes sense.

We'll play a DoD bootstrap game to come up with an ideal DoD then bring it down to a team level, while exploring the deltas, so participants see ways to that DoD can support better practices and transparency in their organizations and ultimately create better products.

Get your light bulbs ready!
